Cheney, who accepted the Republican Vice-Presidential nominating in 2007 said he was looking forward to working under a president who can work across political lines and cooperate with political adversaries with goodwill and a common purpose. Richard Bruce Cheney, son of Richard Herbert Cheney & Marjorie Lauraine Dickey was born on 30 January 1941 at Lincoln Nebraska. When he was 13 years old, Bruce and his family moved to Casper (in Wyoming, the State of Wyoming) which is where his father served as director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's soil conservation district.
