Jenna Fischer's most well-known part is as Pam Beesly in the highly loved television show The Office. The actress won 2 SAG Awards and an Emmy for her outstanding performance by an ensemble comedy.
Born in Fort Wayne Indiana, she was raised at St. Louis Missouri. Jenna was a spectator as her mother Anne took part in plays at church. She was awed by performance and theater was instilled when she was a teenager.
After wrapping up The Office, Fischer, a theater-trained actress returned to her origins. The Off-Broadway production Reasons to be Happy was directed and written by Neil LaBute, with Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb and Fred Weller. In the Old Globe Theatre's world premiere, she played opposite Greg Germann as well as Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's comical comedy Meteor Shower.
The Office co-star Angela Kinsey and Fischer launched Office Ladies, a podcast on Earwolf on October 19, 2019. The podcast has been a huge success, reaching its Top Ten worldwide every week, and receiving more than 200 million downloads during its initial two years. Office Ladies, which was launched in October 2019 it was nominated for iHeartRadio's Podcast of the Month award for the month of January in 2021.
She is also co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office: From Two Best Friends There. This autobiography is about the relationship between them and how they worked on The Office.
